Faulty or Defective Items:
If the item is damaged or defective, our team will help you solve the problem, or provide a free return or replacement.

Please inspect your item before assembly. If you notice any damage, missing parts or defects, contact us immediately before starting assembly so we can help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Change of mind Returns:
If you change your mind about a product purchased or simply wish to return it, you are welcome to do so for a full refund or exchange. Our team will help you return the item with ease and no hassle.

The only conditions applying to Change of mind returns are as follows:   

  1. You must complete your return within 30 days of the date of your order arrived.
  2. The original shipping costs to you are not refunded.

Please ensure the item remains unopened or in brand-new resellable condition

Please note: Space General reserves the right to reject returns or apply a 20% restocking fee if items don’t meet these criteria.

30-Day Trial Policy (Selected Items):
Some selected items — such as pillows — come with a free 30-day trial period. This policy will be clearly shown on eligible product pages. If the item doesn’t suit your needs for any reason, you can return it within 30 days at no cost to you.

    How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

    To begin your return or exchange, email contact@spacegeneral.co.nz with:

    • Your order number
    • Photos of the product and its condition
    • The reason for the return

    Once we’ve reviewed your request, a team member will get back to you within 2 business days with the next steps for your replacement or refund.
