30-Day Return & Refund Policy

Shop confidently knowing we’re here to help if anything’s not quite right.

1. Faulty or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, we’ll make it right with a free return, replacement, or repair.

Before Assembly:
Please inspect your item carefully. If you notice any damage, missing parts, or defects, contact us straight away — before you start assembling — so we can resolve it quickly.


2. Change of Mind Returns

Changed your mind or no longer need your item? No worries! You can return it for a refund or exchange within 30 days of receiving your order.

Conditions:

  • Item must be unopened or in brand-new, resellable condition.

  • The original shipping cost is non-refundable.

  • Returns must be completed within 30 days of your delivery date.

Please note: Space General reserves the right to decline returns or apply up to a 20% restocking fee if these criteria aren’t met.


3. Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and include all packaging and accessories.

  • Non-returnable items: Gift cards, clearance items, and personalised products.


4. Refunds

  • Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after inspection and approval.

  • Initial shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.


5. 30-Day Trial Policy (Selected Items)

Some selected items — like pillows — come with a free 30-day trial period, clearly shown on the product page.
If it’s not the perfect fit, you can return it within 30 days at no cost to you.


6. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

To start your return or exchange, please visit our Contact Us page.

There, you can upload your order number, photos of the product, and provide details about your return.

Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days with the next steps for your refund or replacement.


Please note: If you wish to cancel your order after placing it, please contact us within 30 minutes. If we’re able to stop the order before it’s processed, we’ll happily cancel it and issue a full refund. Our warehouse operates at a fast pace, so once an order has been picked or dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Simply place an order for items that support a healthy lifestyle between 6 to 24 July 2026 to enter. Three (3) Vivo Gift cards up for grabs!

  1. Open to New Zealand residents only. Employees, contractors, and suppliers of Space General, as well as their immediate families, are not eligible.
  2. To enter, customers must place an order on our website during the promotional period — 6 to 24 July 2026. No additional steps required.
  3. Entry is per transaction, not per product. Each valid transaction containing a qualifying item constitutes one (1) automatic entry into the draw, regardless of the total number of qualifying products purchased in that single transaction.
  4. Three (3) winners will be drawn at random and will each receive a $150 Vivo Gift Card. Prizes are not exchangeable for cash or store credit.
  5. Winners will be announced on 27 July 2026 via our Website and Social Media pages and will be further contacted via email. To claim the prize, winners must respond within 7 days with a valid NZ delivery address. If we don’t hear back, a new winner will be selected.
  6. Space General is not liable for any technical issues that prevent entry, including but not limited to website errors or email delivery problems.
  7. We reserve the right to cancel, change, or pause the competition due to unforeseen events, technical issues, or tampering.
  8. By entering, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions and may receive occasional promotional emails from Space General related to this competition.
